Tanya Duncan, the
owner of A-PLUS Recruiting, started her recruiting career in 2003, shortly after
graduating from Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree
in Business Administration. She specialized in National Sales Recruiting for 6
years with one of the largest National Staffing Agencies. During that time she
had the chance to work on a wide range of positions to include Engineering, Management,
Marketing, Human Resources, and Logistics, to name a few. Tanya has had the chance
to recruit in virtually every industry too. She worked with small privately owned
companies, Fortune/Global Companies, Health Care, and even Non-Profits. She did
over half of her work in the Industrial/Manufacturing and Medical arena's. Tanya
earned 12 National Sales Awards with the past franchise she worked at for Placements/Billings
in 6 years with them and also earned a #1 Recruiter in the Nation Award with them
in March of 2009, out of 88 National Recruiters. When she left she had rankings
in the Top 10% Nationally with them.
During the recession, Tanya decided
that she no longer wanted to send her clients to other agencies to full fill their
recruiting needs, aside from Sales. Why, when she had the tools to help them and
had worked in every industry and on every type of opening anyway? When she started
A-PLUS Recruiting in 2009, she decided to make her firm full-service in National
Recruiting. Full-Service includes Direct Hire, Temporary Professional Placements,
and Contract Placements in literally any industry and for any position. Tanya
realized during her career, that what works for one company in regards to fees,
guarantees, and payment terms, may not work for every company. She decided to
offer better solutions for her clients to include non-traditional fees for the
industry. Tanya takes the time to listen to the needs of client companies and
in turn works out a better solution for their recruiting needs. She has numerous
letters of recommendation with 12 National Sales Awards from her career.

solution to a companies background needs and they provide our clients with unbiased
information. They assume all liabilities for the information they obtain and they
do it in a legal manner by having candidates sign off on a waiver, before obtaining
information.
