Territory Sales Rep.
Midwest based industrial equipment service provider (one of few that provides these services for all types of equipment) is seeking a sales rep based within a 30 mile radius of Davenport to work from a home office and travel days throughout the territory of Eastern IA, Indiana and all of Illinois (not including Chicago). Duties include following up on leads generated from call center, seeking out additional opportunities, visiting industrial/mfg. Clients in territory, inspecting industrial equipment for purchasing, and growing territory.
Competitive base salary, bonus, 401K, 100% paid individual health insurance, Dental, Life, Voluntary Short & Long Term Disability and Vacation time. Total earnings in the 60-80K range. Some Mileage reimbursement. Office Supplies to include cell phone and tablet. Some uniform provided too.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of aggressive business to business sales experience or experience managing a territory of business with a proven track record. This client might consider inside b2b sales if you are excited about face to face selling and this is your next career move. Ideal sales backgrounds include, copiers, wireless, payroll services, uniform services or other industrial service or product service sales experience TO businesses. Candidates must be based within 30 mile radius of Davenport, be detail oriented, and have good computer and communication skills. They must also have the ability to travel extensively days throughout the territory with light overnight travel. Please note, these roles do require 6 weeks of out of state training with 2 paid trips home during that 6 week period.
